Like most of us,
I’m on a journey.
I’m a pastor, a teacher, and a fellow traveler with a passion for helping others chart their own unique path.
I’ve been on an intentional path for the past 25 years. A spiritual journey.
But the truth is, I didn’t always know the best path for my own life. Like so many others, I spent time and energy pursuing paths I saw others chasing. From parties and sports to fraternity life, I kept searching. After my time at University of Georgia as a pre-med student, I shadowed a doctor at a children’s hospital. But I began to question whether medicine was right for me.
I felt the call of seminary. I wanted to help others live more fulfilling spiritual lives.

While deciding where to attend graduate school, I met my wife, Meredith. My life took on a new meaning and trajectory. I am the person I am today in large part because of her. We were married before I finished seminary, and it felt like my life had just begun. When her dad was diagnosed with ALS shortly after our engagement, it changed our perspective on life, marriage, ministry, career, calling, and friendships. It shaped my view on the “rat race” and my notion of a meaningful life in the most profound way.

As a church pastor for more than two decades, I've had the opportunity to teach people all ages in both one-on-one and group settings. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to achieve meaningful growth and feel truly connected to ourselves, the divine and others within the larger "church" setting. I also understand that traditional counseling often overlooks spiritual needs. Now, as a father, a business owner, ordained minister and teacher, my calling is to work closely with individuals and families to clarify their own view of the world and spirituality so they can live a life that matters.
